Close Up Diopters enable you to get closer focus on large cinema lenses while maintaining edge sharpness and overall image performance. Perfect for anamorphic lenses which generally have an increased minimum focus, these large diopters allow you to reduce your minimum focus distance by as much as half. Made from the highest quality Schott BK7 glass, these diopters feature image performance beyond the finest comparable brands available with a broadband anti reflective coating to maintain your lenses original look. Revar Cine 138mm Kaleidoscope-9
The 138mm Kaleidoscope-9 is a 9-surface Kaleidoscope filter. Made for professional cinematography, this filter creates a high resolution split image. The center is a 50mm clear flat surface. Any subject positioned in the center will be refracted and part of the image will show on the outer 8 surfaces. This filter is the thickness of a +3 Diopter and weighs nearly 2 lbs (1kg). We highly recommend the Atlas 138mm-114mm holder or the Vocas 5-Axis Diopter Holder for maximum creative control. Arri rear donut 138mm holders work as well.
